Journey on Relaxation
Closing my eyes to begin the journey made me feel uneasy. Once the exercise began, I felt more comfortable and started to become relaxed. My mind was cleared from the days hassles. I felt the blood moving from my stomach to my arms and then my hands. My arms and hands felt heavy as track moved on. I felt relaxed, ready to face another problem and another day.

Melissa,
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you were eventually able to relax and benefit from this exercise. I had difficulty concentrating on the task because I have a 'wondering mind.' Keep up the great journey mindset.
I remember when I first tried a relaxation exercise. It was kind of scary. However, the more you do it the easier and less worried you become. It's funny because its almost like it takes practice. Keep it up! Eventually you will be able to use it as your me time and look forward to it daily.
